3/6/09 Weekend Movie Releases

Last weekend I decided not to do the weekend movies as the only films worthy of mention weren’t needing quotes. The first is obvious, The Jonas Brothers Concert. Yeah, it is a movie for some reason and has done fairly well. The other film I decided to do this week, so keep your hat on!

This film has received both good and bad reviews. The film is about a group of superheroes who come together to revenge the death of one of their colleagues in the mid-1980s. The Watchmen is rated R since it includes extreme profanity, nudity, and violence.

All in all the past few weeks have been a huge bore, IMO. This probably has to do with the Oscars being over only a few weeks. Slumdog Millionaire opened up to more theaters and is earning some nice cash after the huge wins it received.

With that being said, Roger Ebert gave the Watchmen a huge thumbs up, four out of four, stated he would see it again and he still loves it.
