6/05/09 Weekend Movie Releases
After a few weeks of great movies this week cools off quite a bit, at least in my estimation. Which film will be tops? Probably none of these three. However, it is likely one or more will catch the eye of many viewers and have a nice showing in their own right.
The Hangover
A man is getting married, but his groomsmen lose him during their night of drunken misadventures. They try to discover his whereabouts by retracing their steps from the past night.
This film sounds a lot like “Dude Where’s My Car”.
Land of the Lost
Will Ferrell stars in this comedy about a man who is stuck in a space-time vortex alongside his assistant and a survivalist.
This film sounds funny but looks stupid. Who knows which way it will go.
My Life in Ruins
A woman who is in a crossroads in life sets out to become a tour guide in Greece. As she tries to rediscover her life, she finds herself in many embarrassing and wonderful situations.
This film stars the actress from My Big Fat Greek Wedding and is already being seen as a success internationally, especially Greece.
