This weekend, five potentially great movies release. Four films will be opening wide, while the fifth is releasing only in Los Angeles and New York City. Every movie looks like something I would want to see at some point, what about you?

Burn After Reading - Comedy

Trailer:

A disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent lands in the hands of two gym employees who plan to sell it. The movie stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and John Malkovich. This film looks good. It will be fun seeing how people react to it.

Righteous Kill - Crime Thriller

Trailer:

Robert De Niro and Al Painco play a pair of veteren New York City police detectives hunting a vigilante serial killer. This film looks to be another classic put out by two of the greatest actors of all time. I can’t wait to see it.

Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys - Comedy

Trailer:

This film is about two families being torn apart by greed and scandal. I’m not sure how this movie is considered a comedy, but that is what it is classified as. Tyler Perry once again directs and writes his own movie. This movie will likely do well, like everything Tyler Perry does.

The Women - Comedy

Trailer:

The story centers around a group of high-society women who spend their day at beauty salons and fashion shows. One woman finds her marriage in danger when a shop girl finds her way in between them. Naturally, the talk about the woman’s marriage becomes gossip amongst the other friends. This is a remake of George Cukor’s 1939 film “The Women.”
