My name is Gary R. Hess and I was the original creator of PoemofQuotes. Let me tell you a bit about myself.

I am a 24 year old American living in Texas. I am a full-time web developer with a passion for poetry, movies, and writing in general.

I’ve been writing poetry since the year 2000. I started out by writing love poetry and from there branched off into other themes. After taking a creative writing class in college I decided to create PoemofQuotes where my earlier poems reside.

I by no means consider myself a professional poet, just someone with a love of poetry.

I love to write poetry, and although not everything I write is publishable material I love to share it. On PofQ Blog you can find some of my latest poetry and other writings. Since I love writing poetry, naturally my love for reading poetry shows. Because of this, you’ll be able to find some classic poetry along the way.

I also love movies. I give a weekly update on the movies coming out that weekend with my own taste of the film. You’ll also be able to find other articles related to movies throughout the site, some hopefully you’ll find humorous.
