@o.d. that is a bit confusing. You mean, you want to know how to make it show one word at a time and the rest blacked out? If that is the case, why not just use a gif since it will most likely be in an image already?

@Gary I just had a random question regarding poetry. awhile back, i think it was called a "found poem" and i think the text used was paradise lost, where the poet i believe started to black out only certain words of the text... and what was left was his poem? i was just thinking about your code poem, being animated how this "found poem" could be made to animate...

I had not heard of this before, and like o.d. had no idea what you were on about - until I pressed play. Not sure I fully understand what ' behind itm even now, but worth investigating. What's python? I somehow think that must be the key!

@Kayla and o.d. I wish I could find the perl poetry website that inspired me. Sadly, my bookmark disappeared and it is nowhere to be found in Google.

That's really neat! Sort of reminds of a documentary on poetry, by Bill Moyers I think, where they flash the words across the page in different sizes and transitions and fades while the poet recites... but this is really neat, interactive, the possibilities from here look very interesting!
