Kung Hei Fat Choy!
The Chinese New Year celebrations are already underway in Chinese communities across the world. Parades, dances, and Chinese food booths are already up in my city. Hope you all enjoy the great time!
If you are wondering what “kung hei fat choy” means, it is Cantonese for “May you become prosperous,” and is generally used during the Spring Festival as a greeting.
By the way, the Spring Festival is actually what the Chinese call the “Chinese New Year” and it is a 15 day long celebration.
