Our Politics – Poem
poem on US politics
when two canidates sound the same–
everything, but the name–
our politics need to change
when there are two main parties
and neither care about the parities,
our politics need to change
when one man rises above the ranks
only because he doesn’t want tanks,
our politics need to change
when one man is famous for his torture,
but doesn’t mind being the vulture,
our politics need to change
when only half the people vote
and no one cares about our route,
our politics need to change

Very true… and you’re being conservative on the voting numbers, too.
I wrote a satire poem on voting at the polls– what a lot to talk about there! :]
