Quest for the Longest Poetry Meme
I need your help fellow bloggers! Lets create the longest poem ever known to the meme.
What we need to do:
Copy and paste the previous persons poem, then write the next line. It can be a new stanza, new rhyme, etc. But the poem must make sense!
To keep the poem going, please place a link back here (nofollow it if you have to) and the previous persons page. Next, come back here and comment telling us the URL of your poem if you want us to continue it.
If you don’t like the previous line, you can start the meme over, just don’t confuse everyone. Please state in the comment if you started a new poem.
Lets try to make each poem as long as possible!
My poem line:

I’d love to play, but I’m pretty much poetry-challenged. And I can’t quite figure out how to include peanut butter in my line and still have it make sense. I’ll check back later … maybe the poem will take an interesting turn.

LuckyGirl, peanutbutter has many uses and qualities… You could easily mention the smell or taste
Or… you could turn the poem into something else entirely and mention midgets rubbing peanutbutter on the trees.

PWB would love to play along. We’ve done poems like this before. We call it poetry tag ( use search feature at our blog to find those poems.)
Here is my line

Ancestors are breathing through the branches.
