Salute to StumbleUpon - Poem
I’ve been an avid user of StumbleUpon for about 2 1/2 years now. Their toolbar is the very first I install on any new computer and the only one I recommend–Yahoo? Google? Bleh, they have nothing on SU. StumbleUpon is a great time killer and way of finding new content.
Anyway, here is my salute to StumbleUpon:
StumbleUpon makes
Everything it bakes
Satisfying and delicious
Talk about your childhood wishes
You can even eat the dishes
Oh wait, that’s not it. That was the "Candy Man". Here is the StumbleUpon poem:
Salute to StumbleUpon
O StumbleUpon
your button’s so tantalizing
How can I say no
to your blue-green logo
When I am bored
I can search around
Without a hint
of what words need sent
You bring me to pages
to thumb up or down
I can tag and review
all pages I do
When I am done
I click the button
Another page loads
And I start anew

My favourite thing about stumbleupon is that it can satisfy my short attention span, and there really are some gems hidden in there that I would never have found if I was actively searching. The lifesize whale for example.

Yes, I LOVE Stumbleupon. It is a great time waster, but you get such great content with each click! Sure beats searching for it yourself.

I’ve started with SU. But I think that toolbar gathers and sends data. I’ll try it for sometime though.

I am new to the blogosphere and have not really tried stumbleupon. I guess I’m gonna take a good look at how this works
