<itunes:summary>My favorite baseball team and sports team all around is the Kansas City Royals. They have been through many tough years of late, with only one winning season since 1994. I was too young when the Royals won the World Series in 1985, so most of my memories are full of losing. But, I still love them.
Here is a short poem in honor of my favorite sports team:
The Kansas City Royals
 Before the bats of ash
 Before the years of pine
The Royals won it before my time
 Many years painful tears
 Many years dreadful fears
The Royals won it before my time
 Playoffs played without eyes
 Playoffs played nowhere mine
The Royals won it before my time
 Years without post-seasons
 Years without real reasons
The Kansas City Royals are mine
So what is your favorite sports team / sports memory?</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>One of my favorite poems I have written is Horrid House. I wrote it somewhere around seven years ago, so I decided to revamp the writing and add a bit more to the story. Also, this will be my first podcast, so if you feel up to listening, enjoy!

Horrid House – Renewed
I.
Away for a while
But still there
Their senses linger
Through the air
Howls of silence
A gentle feeling
Laughter of anger
Through the ceiling
Painful thoughts
Of whats still there
With a wonder
You’ll be there
What will come
With this journey
Pain and tears
Or bliss and cheers?
II.
As you enter
The night begins
With wraiths waiting
In the darkness
Scared and frightened
You slam the door
Locked, bolted
Can’t endure
Ghosts still wonder
From ancients past
Getting closer
You see their masks
Footsteps louder
Creeping near
Pan left, pan right
Nothing there
While you turn
A shadow appears
Running as quickly
As your tears
Weeping violently
You smell the air
Blood and urine
Fill the atmosphere
You creep forward
And stroke your hair
You feel something
Not so fair
Goo has fallen
From your hair
Wailing louder
You must stare
Look ahead
Nothing to see
Groans occur
Now, Blood of sea
Running faster
Across the room
Something’s coming
But cannot see
As you run
You see a light
Somethings glowing
But not bright
You see a mirror
Across the hall
You see writing
Upon the wall
“The horrors came
To seek revenge
Their lives were taken
By our forsaken”
“To cure this curse
You must do worse
Take this knife
And do your worst”
You grab the knife
And hold it tight
Ripping bowels
From your side
Fall to the floor
And die slowly
You see the ghosts
A bit more clearly</itunes:summary>
