This past weekend Quarantine debuted with great success; however, not surpassing Beverly Hills Chihuahua as #1 in America. They were followed by Body of Lies, Eagle Eye, and Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist.

This week also has a large variety for movie goers. Two dramas, an action film, and one comedy (although, I’ll be surprised if anyone will laugh).

Max Payne (Action / Crime)

Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis star in a film based off a video game. Wahlberg is a DEA agent whose family was murdered. Kunis plays an assassin who is out to avenge the death of her sister. They are both hunted by the police, mob, and a ruthless corporation.

The Secret Life of Bees (Drama)

Dakota Fanning stars in this film based off a novel. The movie is set in South Carolina in 1964. Fanning plays a girl who lost her mother and is living with her abusive father. She leaves home with her caregiver to find the secret to her mother’s past.

Sex Drive (Comedy)

A virgin is convinced to drive across the country to meet up with his internet love in hopes to love his virginity. Alright, stupid movie. This is rated R, so it will probably do horribly since the only people who will want to watch this are 12 year old boys.

W. (Historical Drama)

A historical drama based on the life of George W. Bush. Alright… so people either 1) Can’t remember seven years ago. Or 2) Hollywood went way overboard on this one and it will do poorly.
