High School Musical 3: Senior Year was #1 on the weekend of 10/24/08. Great news? Hardly. My prediction of Highschool Musical 4: The College Years is looking better. Hopefully this is the last. But who knows?

Anyway, Saw V did well, especially for being a fifth installment. Pride and Glory made over $6m (only cost $30m to make). So things aren’t looking too bad. Alright, well the Saw series is absolutely ridiculous. But anyway… Here is this coming weekends openings:

The Haunting of Molly Hartley (Horror)
This movie looks to be the Halloween movie this year, well, besides Saw of course. Anyway, it is something about this High schooler turning 18. Blah blah. It doesn’t look that great.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno (Comedy)
A Kevin Smith movie. Supposedly this movie is his comeback. Seth Rogen stars in it, so that’s good. I’m not too big of a fan of Kevin Smith, but he has quite a big following. This movie will definitely do well. Traci Lords is in it (the woman who faked her age to be a porn star in the 80s), if you’ve seen the trailer she is Bubbles (no nudity from her).

Changeling (Thriller)
Angelina Jolie plays a woman who’s son disappears. Some crazy crap happens. John Malkovich is also starring. Clint Eastwood is the director. The initial reviews aren’t great, but I think I’ll give it a try.

RockNRolla (Crime / Comedy)
About a Russian mobster in London real-estate. Some crap happens and some drama follows. I haven’t seen anything too funny about this movie, but it is classified as a comedy. Just hopefully they didn’t put the most humorous clips in the trailer.
